Micro Scalextric spare cars and track These are currently in short supply. Your best bet for new cars is to buy another set from the sets page , which will give you some extra track and spare hand controllers for not much more than the cost of a couple of individual cars. We hardly ever seem to have any solo Micro cars available for sale these days.

Spare parts for Micro Scalextric Replacement tyres, braids, and guide pins are supplied with each boxed car or set. If you buy a new car or set please remember to keep the spares that come with it in a safe place. To replace braids, gently lever off the retaining clip at the front of the car's underside with a small flat screwdriver or equivalent. The braids are usually folded back on themselves. You may be able to get some more life out of old braids by turning them around. Otherwise just slide off the old ones and slide on the replacements (you may need to adjust braid length), then press the braid holder back on to the car.pictorial maintenance guide here (PDF) - as supplied in sets.
