If you are looking for parts for old Scalextric cars, from the 1960s to the 1990s, it's unlikely we will have them or be able to get them. Most of our parts are only suitable for post-2000 cars. You need to visit a reproduction spares site such as www.scalextric-car.co.uk for older stuff.
Slot cars are fairly easy to mend (see our maintenance page for tips) and you should be able to fix new parts yourself. Repairing cars also helps you to understand how they fit together and may also help you to exercise caution in driving, knowing how and where they can break. Typical accident damage is broken guide blades from over-zealous spinning, broken underpans from a nose-to-tail shunt, and general broken or lost wings. That as they say, is motor racing. So - there are three steps to getting your replacement parts, once you know the part you are looking for:

Minimum orders Please note when ordering only small parts from this page there is a £7 minimum order value because of high postal costs for small packets. It's not economical for us to pay card transaction fees and postage costs for items costing only a quid or two. If you order some braids, which are always useful, that will help make up the total.
Although we generally only get car parts in on request, for some of the more popular ones we do get a few extra spares in with each order. Please check these are the right ones for your car before ordering. TIP: TO FIND OUT IF A PART IS MENTIONED ON THIS PAGE, HIT CTRL AND F (FIND), AND SEARCH FOR THE PRODUCT CODE. NB If you order the wrong part by mistake please be aware that refunds for parts are pretty impossible to do, because we would have to make an allowance for the postage costs already incurred and also it's unlikely you will know you have got the wrong part till you have broken into the packet, which then makes it ineligible for resale. Scalextric McLaren MP4-21 "Vodafone" F1 underpan £7.95 When out of stock you can use the DPR underpan W9783 instead, we've done it. Just take everything off the old underpan, including the driver. All the screw holes and fixture points are in the same place. There will be a small misalignment with the rear of the sidepod "Vodafone" design where it joins the underpan but not a big deal if you want to get your car running again. The chip can still go in its non-DPR location from the broken chassis. Because you won't have a digital plug module, the space where it would be, behind the guide blade, will be a void, and you will need to hold the LED in place in that area with a small piece of blu-tack or hotglue. Alternatively you can also order a blanking piece for the plug module area, W9793, and make a hole in that for the LED to hold it more securely. See Service Sheet 436 for an illustration. If we are aware that parts for a particular car are in short supply, and if for example we are fortunate to have an example of that car spare in stock or returned due to an electrical fault, we will hang on to it if the rest of the parts are still as new.
